CPT (Curriculum Practical Training) is a work authorization that will allow you to do internship.
The student will perform duties as a Flight Instructor and build hours, reinforce skills and prepare themselves for working in the airline industry. The 6 months CPT allow student to log up to 1,000 hours as Flight Instructor (both single and multi-engine)
OPT (Optional Practical Training) is 1 year work permit given to students after completing graduate in the United States.
After the CPT, the student may apply for OPT for further flight hour building. Most of the students leave here with 1,500 flying hours or more.
To be able to apply for OPT(Flight Instructor Position) you must have completed the program on time, written exam grades must be at least 85% or higher and you must pass a flight instructor review board.
